Automated Logic offers a series of smart sensors for use with single-equipment application and unitary-equipment application controllers.
RS - Intelligent Room Sensors
Automated Logic’s line of intelligent sensors includes the RS Standard, RS Plus and RS Pro, and is designed for use with ZN, SE, and ME line controllers. The RS Plus offers a local setpoint adjustment and override to an occupied mode and LED indication of current status. The RS Pro has a large LCD display which provides instant readout of zone temperature, and allows the user to check on outside air temperature, local heating and cooling setpoints, and other zone information. Setpoint adjustments and after-hours heating and cooling can be made with the touch of a button.
All sensors provide precision measurement and communication capabilities in attractive low profile enclosures. A hidden communications jack provides access to the HVAC control system for commissioning and maintenance. Designed to reside on a 115 kbps communications network, an RS Plus or RS Pro can be daisy-chained with up to four basic sensors for temperature averaging or high/low select control.
Based on a native BACnet architecture, the Automated Logic system uses ARCNET 156K baud as the high speed building control network to connect our controllers with a family of network routers.
ARCNET - 156K Baud Ancillary Network Boards
Designed to ensure the superior performance of ARCNET 156 kbps in the field, the ARCNET ancillary network boards serve to properly terminate, bias, protect and repeat data transmitted over the twisted pair EIA-485 network. Based on a native BACnet® architecture, the Automated Logic system uses ARCNET 156 kbps as the high speed building control network to connect ME line, SE line and ZN line controllers with a family of routers.
ARCNET to ARCNET Router - High Speed ARCNET to ARCNET Router
The ARCNET to ARCNET Router (AAR) is designed to expand or segment high speed ARCNET 156Kbps networks. AAR's can be installed on control networks using ME, SE and ZN controllers that use native BACnet communications. Conveniently housed in a rugged and compact enclosure for panel mounting, the AAR is designed with two ARC156 communication ports.
Automated Logic’s fiber optic network interfaces allow the use of fiber optic cable to greatly extend the range of Cmnets, providing trouble-free building to building networking.
FIBER485 - Fiber Optic Network Interface
The FIBER485 and FIBER485T allow the use of fiber optic cable to extend the range of an ARCNET 156 kbps or Legacy CMnet. The maximum length of cable between FIBER485 modules depends upon the quality of the cable and the number of connectors and splices, but runs of over 2500 ft. are possible. The FIBER485T has two fiber optic ports, allowing it to be used as a fiber to fiber repeater.
